John McAlister guide service specializes in rod and reel catfishing. He provides, bait and tackle... Fishing cleaning and bagging. You provide---Any drink or food you desire, Alcohol is fine in moderation. Fishing license as per law requirements. Depending on the time of year, he fishes shallow water to deep water over baited holes if necessary.

Fishing times or when you get ready or until we get ready to quit and clean fish. General Rates : Guide for 1 day for up to 3 persons= $250.

About John: John McAlister has fished Lake Ivie since the lake opened in 1990. The lake record channel catfish was caught out of his boat. He is a retired adult probation officer and graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. John believes in providing the best of service to his customers, all equipment utilized is very dependable.
